Vegan tenders - really tasty. Almost like a gardein tender but with great flavor and sauce. Sides - tasty but smaller portions, really only meant for one person. Chicken wings - (from the meat eater) the extra hot wings are the perfect level of heat and good flavor! Didn't love the lemon pepper rub but might just be personal preference.
I finally got a chance to tryout Urban Wings. I've passed this spot many times thinking I need to try it. The first thing I noticed was the decor when you go inside. It has a great Atlanta theme. The menu on the monitors was big and clear. When I placed my order the server was very nice and knew the menu perfectly. My food was brought out quickly. Everything was hot and fresh. The wings were great. I had the curly fries as a side. They were made to perfection. The lemonade was some of the best homemade lemonade I've ever had. The only thing I didn't love was that the mild sauce was a good bit hotter than what mild usually is. It wasn't bad, it just caught me off guard and wasn't quite what I was looking for. Overall it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back.
GIreat wings & the best service I had driven by the restaurant several times and wondered how good could this wings be!! So I bust a sharp right and drove to the restaurant. The cashier was very friendly and patient with me while I tried to decide on WHICH combo. I chose #1 just to be sure I did like the good. They didn't disappoint! Next time in I'm going for it! Please try! There is a location closer to my home..GOD is good! Oh did I mention the outside sittin w/ a tv while u wait, priceless!!!
Always good, quick and fresh. I've experience once the food was cold and they forgot my sauce for a side but every other time, spot on! Call ahead or order online is the best option. Flavors: Hot lemon pepper: 10/10 (we knew that!) Mango Jalp: 10/10 (sweet with a kick) Bourbon braves: 8/10 Shrimp: 7/10 Sides: Fried green beans: 10/10 (order now!) Fried mushrooms: 7/10 Curly fries: 10/10 (of course) Mozzarella sticks: 8/10 (you must eat hot) Dessert: IF THEY HAVE the red velvet cheesecake - GET TWO!!!
I was not expecting to come here but I am glad I did. This place is great. I think it is a family run black owned business. The venue was celebrating their 1 year anniversary and the place was really clean on the inside. I ordered the 10 pc bone-in wings (5 Hotlanta and 5 Sweet garlic). I ordered the Oreo Churro. The hot wings had some heat to them but not too hot. The sweet garlic was interesting and good. The Oreo Churro was extremely good. It had cream filling on the inside and powder sugar on the outside. I will return and try more exotic flavors.
